Mental Health Among Minorities

During this workshop, we will unpack what influences the way we communicate, such as race, power, or privilege, particularly when speaking about mental health, trauma, and healing. After some reflection, we will practice shifts in our language and listening skills to be more trauma-informed and healing-centered. Finally, we will shift our focus back onto ourselves. Whether we are burning out from our work or studies, or we just need a moment to reset, recharge, and restart, we will practice a variety of self-care strategies so that we will be equipped to be our best and strongest selves.
